Tickets for Soca Nation LDN events may be sold or distributed through third-party ticketing platforms, including DICE, Eventbrite, Fatsoma and other authorised ticketing providers.

When you purchase or register for a Soca Nation LDN event through a third-party ticketing platform, that platform may collect and process your personal data in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms.

Where a ticketing platform lawfully provides personal data to Soca Nation LDN, we may process that information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including managing event attendance, communicating with customers and, where permitted by applicable law, providing information about future Soca Nation LDN events, ticket releases, promotions and other relevant communications.

Any personal data received from a third-party ticketing platform will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and any relevant consent, marketing preferences or other permissions associated with that information.

Where required by law, we will provide appropriate privacy information regarding personal data obtained from third parties.

4. WHY WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Soca Nation LDN collects and uses customer contact information, including email addresses, for the purpose of maintaining communication with individuals who have interacted with, attended or purchased tickets for our events.

8. TICKETING PLATFORMS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may use third-party companies and service providers to operate Soca Nation LDN and provide our services.

  • Ticket sales and event registration;

  • Email marketing and communications;

  • SMS or electronic communications;

  • Data storage;

  • Website hosting;

Examples of ticketing platforms through which our events may be promoted or tickets sold include DICE, Eventbrite and Fatsoma, Skiddle etc...

Where a third party acts as our processor, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the processing is subject to appropriate contractual and data protection safeguards.

10. PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING AND EVENT RECORDINGS

Soca Nation LDN events may be photographed, filmed and/or recorded for purposes including event documentation, promotional material, advertising, marketing, social media, websites, publicity and other commercial or promotional activities relating to Soca Nation LDN.

By attending a Soca Nation LDN event, you acknowledge and understand that you may appear in photographs, video recordings, audio recordings or other forms of event content captured by or on behalf of Soca Nation LDN.

Where reasonably practicable, we may provide signage or other notice at event entrances or within event areas to inform attendees that photography and filming is taking place.

Soca Nation LDN may use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute and display such recordings and content across its social media channels, websites, advertising campaigns, promotional materials and other media, without payment or compensation to individuals appearing incidentally or as part of the general event audience.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Instagram;

  • TikTok;

  • Facebook;

  • Snapchat;

  • YouTube;

  • Websites;

  • Digital advertising;

  • Promotional videos;

  • Event aftermovies;

  • Flyers and promotional graphics; and

  • Other current or future media platforms used by Soca Nation LDN.

Where an individual is deliberately and specifically recorded or featured as the primary subject of promotional content, we may seek additional permission or consent where required by applicable law.

If you do not wish to be intentionally photographed or filmed, you should make this known to an appropriate member of Soca Nation LDN staff or event management where reasonably practicable.

Requests concerning recorded content

If you believe that you have been specifically and recognisably featured in Soca Nation LDN content and would like us to consider removing or ceasing to use that content, you may contact us at:

We will consider reasonable requests on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the nature of the recording, the purpose for which it was created and published, our legitimate interests, the rights of other individuals appearing in the content, and our legal obligations.

A request for removal does not automatically require Soca Nation LDN to remove content where we have a lawful basis to retain or continue using it.

Where content is used for legitimate promotional, documentary or commercial purposes and its continued use is lawful, Soca Nation LDN may decline a request for removal where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section is intended to remove or restrict any rights that you have under applicable UK data protection or other applicable law.

11. HOW LONG WE RETAIN PERSONAL DATA
